Waffle Flower - Background Blender Brushes - Reds

Here are three quick tips for getting the best results with your new Background Blenders:

Tip 1 – Hold it right.
These brushes are designed to be held with your thumb on top.
It might feel a little different at first, but it gives you better control and makes blending easier.

Tip 2 – Swirl, don’t dab.
Swirl your brush on the ink pad to pick up colour—this helps prevent harsh lines.
A couple of circles on the pad should be enough each time. A little ink goes a long way!

Tip 3 – Dab off for seamless blends.
Always dab off excess ink over a non-porous surface before blending onto your project.
The inside of your ink pad lid, a silicone mat, a piece of acetate, or even a stencil all work great for this.
Then blend from the centre outward, building up the colour gradually for a smooth, even result.

To clean your brush between colours, simply swipe it over a paper towel to remove the excess ink.
If the bristles start to feel stiff, rinse under warm water with mild soap and lay flat to dry.

Avoid using rubbing alcohol, it can dry out the bristles.
